After five months of training, Brian will be competing in his first powerlifting competition. What does that even mean? It means lifting the heaviest possible amount of weight one time in each of three different lifts: back squat, bench press, and deadlift. Registration is tomorrow morning at 6:30am, weigh in at 7am, lifting begins at 9am. Today is a very light workout to keep the muscles alive, and gleefully planning out the day full of snacks, trail mixes, orange slices, etc, for the big day. Results will be posted here in kg and lbs.
